The 2019 Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) pandemic did not stop San Miguel Beer guard Chris Ross from adding another achievement under his belt.
The two-time PBA Finals Most Valuable Player announced on Tuesday, May 4, that he has finally graduated from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia.
"It was a LONG time coming but I used quarantine as a time to better myself and fishing some things that I didn’t get to finish when I was first presented with the situation," Ross said in an Instagram post.
"I wish I was able to go back to campus and walk the stage but unfortunately I wasn’t. I’m proud and giving myself a pat on the back for never giving up on myself and finally getting it done! I’m officially a college graduate," he added.
The 36-year old Filipino-American basketball player has won eight PBA championships with the Beermen, and has been included in five PBA-All Star teams.
