Ogie Diaz expressed his disappointment towards "digital scammers," giving awareness to the public against unofficial pages using his name and photos to market their products.
On Thursday, the comedian-talent manager reminded the public about the fake accounts by posting screenshots of them on his Facebook page.
“Grabe na ang holdap ngayon. Nabawasan na sa kalye, nasa digital na sila,” he wrote. “Yung kainosentihan at kaignorantehan ng mga tao ang kanilang susi para makapambiktima ng mga nilalang," he wrote.
Diaz already asked help from his friends to report the fake accounts which Facebook has not yet turned down.
He said that scammers are too shameless to involve them in their schemes and advised them to look for a decent job instead of deceiving other people.
Meanwhile, celebrities like Angelica Panganiban, Camille Prats, Denise Laurel, and Ogie Alcasid also fell victim to posers and fake accounts.
