If you don't look closely, you would think that Carla Abellana is fond of bakings cakes and pastries with these deliciously looking and multi-colored soaps she posted on her personal Instagram account.
The actress told her fans through an Instagram post that she has been making soaps as one of her hobbies for two years now.
She mentioned that she had attended basic and advanced classes, which includes distinguishing chemical ingredients in commercial soaps and household products.
"Soap making is science + art. And in my opinion, it’s also therapeutic + anxiety-inducing. Other soap makers would relate," she captioned.

With her soaps being visually appealing, people became confused about whether these are edible or not, making a fan leave a comment on one of her soap posts, thinking it was a "cake."
Abellana's peppermint-scented soap looks like a watermelon ice drop that she made for her house helpers, which made the infamous Chef Roland "Chef Lau" Laudico get fooled for thinking of it as a dessert.

She also revealed her working method, including her preferred music from rock to classical while on a soap-making session.
Abellana said that she usually plays music whenever she makes handcrafted soaps and that her choice of music depends on her emotional state at that particular moment.
