James Reid advised Liza Soberano to continue doing what she believes in amid criticisms over her recently uploaded vlog.
"People would think that you are crazy when they do not understand what you’re trying to do," said Reid, who is Soberano's current manager, in an interview on Tuesday.
"I think, my advice to her would be stick to her gun, stick to what she believes in and eventually, when she turns around, she’ll find something she’s proud of," he added.
Soberano is currently under the management of Careless, a label founded by Reid.
On being 'ungrateful'
Along with her rebranding, the actress has made revelations in her past career making people call her 'ungrateful'.
In the same event with Reid, Liza was able to answer questions of gratitude towards past management.
"I just wanna say that I’m grateful for everything that I have achieved, everything that I’ve experienced in life," she said.
Soberano pointed out that she has been vocal in expressing gratitude to the people behind her success.
"I feel I have never failed to express that every time I have the chance. I always say how thankful I am to everybody that has been a part of my journey and my life," she added.
