Presidential candidate and Senator Manny Pacquiao denied that he will withdraw from the presidential race.
"Mag-backout daw ako, hindi po totoo 'yan. Tuloy ang laban ni Manny Pacquiao," he said in a press conference.
(They said I will back out, that’s not true. Manny Pacquiao’s fight continues.)
"Wala po sa bokabularyo ko 'yung mag-backout," he added.
(Backing out is not in my vocabulary.)

He made the remarks amid false reports and speculations circulating online that the senator is pulling out from the upcoming elections.
According to Pacquiao, whoever wants him to pull out from the presidential race should do it themselves, adding that those behind the false information see him as a threat to their campaign.
The senator then appealed to the public to support him and unite, stressing that he is advocating for the poor and for Filipinos.
This is not the first time that Pacquiao had to clear that he is not backing out of the presidential race. Back in February, the senator made similar remarks that withdrawing is not in his vocabulary, stressing that he was a fighter.
Back in November last year, he also said that he was not pulling out from the presidential race after a meeting with President Rodrigo Duterte in Malacañang.
Pacquiao is running under the PDP-Laban faction led by him and Senator Aquilino Pimentel III. He is in tandem with vice presidential candidate Lito Atienza.
