12 people have reportedly perished due to the onslaught of Typhoon Nika, Super Typhoons Ofel, and Pepito, according to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC).

As of Friday, November 21, the NDRRMC has validated five of the reported deaths.

Out of the 12 reported fatalities, seven came from Cagayan Valley, three came from Central Luzon, and two came from the Cordillera Administrative Region.

Meanwhile, NDRRMC also reported that 14 people suffered injuries while three people still remain missing.

The agency added that the series of tropical cyclones affected a total of 1,067,656 families, or around 3,966,867 individuals, in Ilocos Region, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, and the Cordillera Administrative Region.

Bicol Region has the highest number of affected families (495,139) followed by Cagayan Valley (220,001), and Eastern Visayas (115,746).

67,971 families, or around 244,492 individuals, remain at 1,913 evacuation centers across the Philippines, while 32,764 families, or 116,898 individuals, have been staying outside evacuation centers.
