The third leg of the competitions here at Aliwan Fiesta Digital Queen 2022 has begun, this time, focusing on the Top 2 finalists' advocacies and causes.
On Saturday, October 22, candidates from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao presented their respective advocacies through their choice of community program or charity during the Queens For A Cause competition leg.
Each finalist was given three minutes to speak about the organization, its objectives, target beneficiaries, and her contributions.

Sophia Noreen Guillermo has witnessed how the COVID-19 pandemic affected not just the people of her home province, Ilocos Norte, but also its livelihood, public services, and local tourism.
She aims to utilize the use of digital technology to help promote her province as well as aid its economic development.
From the Queen City of the South, Nadine Faith Mccoy promotes self-love and acceptance through the Love Yourself organization.
Being a member of the LGBTQIA+ herself, Nadine advocates promoting a safe space for all genders where they can find their self-worth among themselves and encourage others to do it as well.
As a geologist, Davao City's Dana Tautho recognized at an early age the importance of being environmentally and socially mindful, thus supporting a cause that helps in reducing the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and the worsening of climate change.
Partnering with one of the wealthiest tribes in her province, Dana promotes the "One Apparel, One Tree program." Its proceeds will be directly utilized for tree-growing activity that will sequester the carbon dioxide emission in Davao City.
From Guinobatan, Albay, Kristell Candice Pagdagdagan supports her town's children's organization named "Arandurugan Para Sa Mga Kaakian" (Helping One Another for the Children).
In line with the celebration of the National Children's in November, Kristell aims to encourage children into seeing their full potential as well as to support them.
The pride of Bacolod City, Jeaven Iyl Musni is well-aware of the crises in her hometown especially the growing number of food wastes that end up in their landfills every day.
With this, she backed up "Sagup Negros," a cause that provides income supports to market vendors and unemployed mothers. They aim to replicate this cause in other communities in order to build a more sustainable society that will benefit both people and their city.
Jackelaine Fleming of Cebu City showed her support to the Little Lamb Center Missionaries of the Poor, a charity organization that caters to children with special needs in her province.
During her visit, Jackelaine donated some appliances, food supplies, and the basic needs of the children.
Representing Buenavista, Agusan del Norte, Martina De La Rama introduced her chosen charity which is the Kalanggaman and Tangke Fisherfolks Association.
She aims to further amplify their voices in educating people on safeguarding the ecosystem and protecting the mangroves.
Marikit Manaois of Baguio City is an advocate of Zero Waste Management and is working with a non-government organization that also supports the same cause.
She showcased their city's very own Solid Waste on Wheels, a machine that turns waste into organic fertilizer for biodegradables and non-biodegradables which can be mixed in cement and used in infrastructures.
From Nueva Ecija, Maica Martinez presented her advocacy for the farmers of her province through the "Magsasaka Bida sa Cabanatuan" program.
Their province was among those grievously affected by the recent onslaught of Super Typhoon Karding, causing over Php 3 billion worth of damage to agriculture.
Thañamae Cahilig of Labangon, Cebu City is advocating for Trafficking and Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children. She supports "Rancho Ni Cristo" — an aftercare center for its victims that was established by a non-government organization in her province.
She aims to promote kindness and respect for children as well as a safe space for their future.
From Davao City, Nikki Shannen Ortega promotes the preservation of the cultural heritage of the Bagobo Tagabawa tribe, emphasizing its importance in honing one's identity.
Nikki wanted to shed light on their indigenous people, promoting its culture and educating more people about preserving it.
The candidate from Caramoan, Camarines Sur, Kassandra Aveno has chosen the Alternative Learning System as her advocacy, emphasizing on its goal of giving out of school children and adult hope for a better future.
Kassandra aims to develop a livelihood project that would help the families of the ALS learners.
Indeed, the ladies are not just pure beauty and brains, but they also have the heart for others.
This will be affirmed by the corresponding amounts to be given to the first three winners and to their chosen charitable programs in their respective municipalities.
The next competition leg the Evening Gown Competition and Q&A and the Awarding and Coronation Night will be aired over DZRH TV, and all social media platforms of MBC: DZRH News, Love Radio, Yes The Best, Easy Rock, Aksyon Radyo, and Radyo Natin.
