The Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) both recommended the release of 373 employees after investigations showed that they had nothing to do with the illegal activities of said POGO Hub but were just victims of fraud.

The raid, spearheaded by the PAOCC, the Philippine National Police, and the Armed Forces of the Philippines, occurred last Wednesday, March 13.

At least 875 people were caught, with 504 of them foreigners.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) said Filipinos were recruited on social media to work as call center agents.

The rest of them were promised a salary of more than P20,000.00 per month, but they will only be used in a modus called "love scam.".

It is known that some of those recruited are working as maintenance workers, cooks, or serving in the canteen.

The DOJ, on the other hand, plans to help Filipinos file cases regarding employment issues.
