Numerous Filipino stars were recognized at the recent 2024 TAG Victorious Awards in Chicago.
Among these are Marian Rivera, who was honored as Best Actress in a Film (“Balota”); Barbie Forteza, who triumphed as Best Actress in a Series for her role in “Pulang Araw.” Her co-star on the show, Dennis Trillo, also took home the award for Best Actor in a Series.
Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards, also known to fans as KathDen, also received Female and Male Celebrity of the Year awards respectively. DonBelle or Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano, as a pairing, were hailed Best Love Team.
The Nation’s Girl Group, BINI, as well as SB19 received P-Pop Stars of the Year awards, with BINI crowned as the Gold Champion and SB19 bagging Silver Champion.
Megastars Sabrina Carpenter and Bruno Mars were also accorded Best Female and Male Artist by the award-giving body. Chappell Roan was recognized as Best New Artist.
The TAG Awards are an annual event organized by the Filipino-American community in Chicago.
