The Bureau of Customs (BOC) Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), seized three air parcels containing illegal drugs on July 26, in Pasay City.

According to their press report on Thursday, the intercepted parcels were examined and revealed that the drugs amount to P7,386,672. The confiscated items mentioned are as follows:

  • 96 disposable vape cartridges filled with cannabis oil
  • 468 grams of kush (a high-grade marijuana)
  • 957 grams of methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu)

The BOC said that the parcels addressed to several recipients in Cebu City, Bacolod City, and Naga City, originated from USA and Pakistan.

“Our commitment in preventing illegal drugs from entering the country remains unwavering. This operation underscores our dedication to safeguarding our communities,” Commissioner Bienvenido Rubio said.
