BTS' Jungkook will be joining the roster of artists who will perform at the FIFA World Cup 2022 opening ceremony in Qatar from November 21-23.
On November 12, BTS officially announced that the 25-year-old Kpop idol would be lending his voice to the soundtrack of the upcoming World Cup—and that he would also be performing at the opening ceremony later this month.
"Proud to announce that Jungkook is part of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Soundtrack & will perform at the World Cup opening ceremony. Stay tuned!" Big Hit Music said in its post.

The FIFA World Cup 2022 opening ceremony will take place on November 20.
Aside from Jungkook, other celebrities like Shakira and Nicki Minaj reportedly will also kick off the ceremony, based on a tweet by the World Music Awards.
