Suga of the K-pop boy band BTS recently revealed that he has started the initiation process of his military enlistment.

In a statement on Monday, his label BIGHIT MUSIC announced that Suga, who also goes by the stage name Agust D, has applied for the termination of his enlistment postponement.

"We ask you for your continued love and support for SUGA until he completes his military service and safely returns," the statement reads.

The announcement comes shortly after the 30-year-old rapper concluded his solo tour in Seoul, South Korea over the weekend.

He will be the latest member to serve following Jin who enlisted in December 2022 and J-Hope last April.
