Fashion meets sustainability in Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray’s bag collection of sustainable, one-of-a-kind statement pieces, made in collaboration with Filipino artisans and Megaworld Lifestyle Malls.

The beauty queen took to designing bags hand in hand with the craftsmen at Side B Upcycling Retail Inc., which was founded on environmental stewardship. Together, they launched the Enviro-Chic Bag collection, all of which are made from repurposed tarpaulins.

The collection consists of The Large Tote, 3-way Folio, and Essentials Bucket.

“(These) are stylish and versatile bags that effortlessly adapt for any occasion while keeping your everyday essentials organized and secure,” Gray wrote on her Instagram post.

She invited followers to grab the limited-edition bags at participating Megaworld Lifestyle Malls, namely Eastwood, UP Town Bonifacio and Venice Grand Canal Mall in Taguig, Binondo’s Lucky Chinatown, and Newport Mall in Pasay City.

Customers can claim the bags by presenting their receipts, along with 35 water bottles for recycling.

Gray is the Philippines’ latest Miss Universe titleholder and an advocate for scoliosis, HIV/AIDS awareness, as well as an ambassador for the National Commission on Culture and the Arts.
