De La Salle University (DLSU) on Tuesday announced that all in-person classes in its Manila campus will momentarily be shifted online to give way for the nationwide one-week transportation strike.
In an advisory by DLSU as posted by student publication The La Sallian on Twitter, it said that from March 6 to 11, classes in senior high school, undergraduate, and graduate levels will be conducted online.

Meanwhile, in a separate advisory, it said that the University campuses will remain open, and in-person activities can continue as planned.
"Libraries and laboratories shall remain open for studying and for research work," it said.

"Except for those who are needed to mantain campus operations, employees may work from home next week," DLSU added.
The University will provide free transport services for employees who are required to report on-site.
On Monday, transport groups declared a one-week "tigil pasada," or strike of traditional jeepneys and UV Express nationwide, starting March 6.
The strike is in protest against Memorandum Circular No. 013 issued by the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB), which extended traditional jeepneys’ provisional authority (PA) or franchise to operate until June 30 only.
