As millions of Filipinos gather to celebrate the Feast of Jesus Nazareno, several notable artists and celebrities have also shared their devotion during the early hours of this year’s Traslacion kick-off at Quirino Grandstand, Luneta Park, Manila.
Among those who paid homage to the Black Nazarene were Coco Martin, Angeline Quinto, Dimples Romana, and McCoy de Leon. These artists not only participated in the festivities but also shared heartfelt messages about their spiritual connection to Jesus Nazareno.
FPJ's Batang Quiapo actor-director Coco Martin stated that there are instances in his life when it becomes difficult to explain how we overcome situations that initially seemed impossible to resolve.
In these kinds of situations, the actor emphasized that there is no one else to lean on but family and faith in God.
"Anuman ang hirap na pinagdadaanan natin sa buhay, kung may Diyos sa puso't isapan mo at sa pamilya nito, lahat walang imposible," Coco said in his testimony.
Coco also shared a photo on his Instagram featuring himself alongside the image of Jesus Nazareno.
"Walang Hanggang Pasasalamat Mahal na Poong Hesus Nazareno," Coco said in an Instagram post.

Singer Angeline Quinto expressed the same devotion, having been a devotee of Jesus Nazareno since a young age and remaining a faithful follower throughout the years.
As part of her participation in the annual tradition, Angeline performed at the program, delivering a heartfelt rendition of the song "May Bukas Pa."
Meanwhile, FPJ's Batang Quiapo star McCoy de Leon shared his testimony on how his faith and devotion to Jesus Nazareno have profoundly changed his life.
He shared that his only prayer, both then and now, is to uplift his family life and achieve success.
"Ako din as deboto, gusto ko rin maging successful na artista tulad po ng mga kasama ko ngayon [na sina Coco Martin at Dimples Romana]," said De Leon.
De Leon is known for actively participating in the Traslacion, a practice he embraced after being introduced to it by his parents,
Meanwhile, actress and devotee of Jesus Nazareno, Dimples Romana, experienced a challenging chapter in her life when her sibling was diagnosed with cancer, which put her family’s resilience to the test. She further shared that she learned to pray after seeing her father pray despite the hardships they were going through.
These celebrities, like countless other devotees, continue to inspire with their unwavering faith. Their participation in the Feast of Jesus Nazareno not only underscores the tradition’s cultural and spiritual importance but also bridges the gap between their public lives and personal beliefs.
