The death toll from the landslide in Brgy. Masara, Maco, Davao de Oro rose to 54, according to the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (MDRRMO) - Maco on Sunday evening, February 11.

In its latest report, individuals who were declared dead now reached 54 from the 37 recorded at 12 noon the same day.

Meanwhile, the number of recorded injuries remained at 32.

Authorities are still looking for 63 missing individuals.

The landslide occurred on Tuesday evening, February 6,. It buried residential areas in Masara as well as two buses from mining company, Apex Mines.
