MANILA – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) announces the temporary suspension of operations in DFA Consular Office San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte on Wednesday, 20 September 2023.

According to the DFA, this is pursuant to Proclamation No. 316 declaring Wednesday a Special Non-Working day in the Province of Ilocos Norte, to commemorate the birth anniversary of Josefa Llanes Escoda.

DFA reminds applicants for consular services with affected confirmed appointments on the said date in DFA Consular Office San Nicolas, that they will be accommodated from Thursday, 21 September 2023 until 20 October 2023, Mondays to Fridays, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
