Phoenix Petroleum Philippines has jumped the gun and carried out price rollbacks on their oil products on Friday, July 26, as opposed to competition, which have scheduled price adjustments for Tuesday, July 30.

The oil company announced a decrease of P0.80 per liter of gasoline, and P0.75 less on every liter of diesel, which has taken effect today, at 6 AM.

"These adjustments will be implemented in LUZON only to provide relief to the public after the onslaught of Typhoon Carina," Phoenix's latest price advisory reads.
