President Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr. has named Emmanuel Rufino Ledesma Jr. as the acting chief executive officer (CEO) and president of the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (Philhealth).

This was announced by the Office of the Press Secretary (OPS) in a statement.

Ledesma took oath on Thursday, Nov. 24, before Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin.

He replaced former Philhealth officer-in-charge Eli Dino Santos.

Prior to his designation in Philhealth, Ledesma performed as the president and CEO of the Power Sector Assets and Liabilities Management Corporation.
