Former President Rodrigo Duterte will attend the House Quad Committee hearing on Wednesday, according to his lawyer, Atty. Martin Delgra III.
In a report by RH Henry Uri on Tomorrow's News Tonight, Delgra stated that the former President has been looking forward to attending and speaking before the committee.
The hearing centers on the inquiry into extrajudicial killings under Duterte's "war on drugs" campaign during his administration.
The former president is reportedly undergoing medical procedures to obtain clearance for his travel, but he allegedly believes he will be able to attend the hearing.
It can be recalled that the former President initially said he would not attend the committee hearing, noting that he was "doubtful" about the legislative inquiry, which he described as a "mere political ploy" aimed at indicting him.
Delgra said that his client had already shared everything he knew during the Senate hearing on October 28.
