A fire hit a residential area in Taguig on Thursday, October 5, that led to the deaths of four family members living in the area.
According to Edniel Parrosa's live report during DZRH Dos Por Dos, the fire occurred at Katipunan Village, Western Bicutan, in Taguig City, causing the deaths of a mother, her minor twin daughters, and a 21-year-old niece.
Emelita Gumapac, the mother of the twins, was found to be dead after a personal things was recovered from the area.
A report from the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said the fire started before 4 a.m. in the morning.
The fire has reached its first alarm.
BFP declared a fireout after 30 minutes of fire extinguishment.
The four people involved in the incident were allegedly trapped in the residential unit.
BFP is still identifying the cause of the fire.
