There's no stopping for Hidilyn Diaz as she now adds "world champion" to her long list of accomplishments.
Diaz makes a complete sweep and took home three medals in the women's 55kg division of the International Weightlifting Federation World Championships in Bogota, Colombia on Wednesday, December 7 (Thursday, December 8, Manila time).
She topped the clean and jerk after lifting 93 kg on her second attempt to bag her first gold, while she cleared 114 kg in her first attempt in the snatch to get her second gold.
In total, the pride of Zamboanga lifted 207 kg, the best record among the 10 competitors for the gold medals in their weight class.
The medals add to Hidilyn Diaz' haul which now has an Olympic gold and silver, an Asian Games gold, and multiple gold medals in the Southeast Asian Games.
