by Kristan Carag10 May 2021
The Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious (IATF) has allowed the teams of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) to resume training.
As per IATF Resolution No. 114, PBA teams can hold scrimmages and practice in areas under general community quarantine, and modified general community.
PBA Commissioner Willie Marcial thanked the IATF for approving the request of the league, and said that the league still plans to begin its 46th season by June.
"We're looking at a month of practices. Mid-June baka pwede na tayo mag-start ng season. And yes, we're still on target for a two-conference calendar for Season 46," Marcial said.
