The Marcos administration has generated Php 418 million in sales from 19,383 Kadiwa selling activities, which benefited 1.22 million households nationwide, the Office of the Press Secretary (OPS) reported on Saturday, Dec. 31.

Citing the administration's year-end report, the OPS said the Kadiwa outlets also benefitted 450 farmer cooperatives and associations (FCAs) and agri-fishery enterprises nationwide.

The Kadiwa ng Pasko caravan, on the other hand, has sow over Php 15 million in sales as of Dec. 11, it said.

Meanwhile, the OPS also reported that the Marcos administration have operated 15 Agri-Pinoy Trading Centers (APTCs) and Diskuwento Caravans this year that benefited 219, 201 farmers and fishermen nationwide.

"Through the APTCs, the DA facilitated the trade of 214,758.21 metric tons (MT) of crops, 90,248 heads of livestock, and 1,789.94 MT of fishery products valued at P16.65 billion," it said.

The administration also distributed 52,000 unused lands to Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARB) and 19,199 Certificates of Land Ownership Awards (CLOAs) were given to 11,938 ARBs.

At least 1.06 million rice farmers and 3,528 farmer cooperatives and associations (FCAs) received seeds, fertilizer, and fuel discount vouchers, farm inputs and materials, and irrigation facilities.
