The last missing prisoner among the nine who escaped in a police station's precinct in Tondo, Manila, has been finally arrested, according to the Manila Police District (MPD) on Monday, November 13.
In a report by Boy Gonzales in MBC Network News, MPD Chief Pol. Col. Arnold Tomas Ibay said the MPD Intelligence Division arrested Jefferson Tumbaga at SBUC Compound Soldiers Hill Narra Street, Molino Road, in Bacoor City, Cavite.
Tumbaga was one of the nine who fled Raxabago Police Station MPD Station 1 on November 8, 2023, where he was also wanted for several days.
It is known that Tumbaga has a case of violation of PD 1602, or illegal gambling.
The nine who escaped are now back in their cells while strict security is being implemented at the custodial facility where they escaped.
