A magnitude 4.4 earthquake struck the Island of Tinaga in Vinzons, Camarines Norte on Monday, August 5, according to PHIVOLCS.

The tectonic quake occurred at 10:34 a.m. and had a depth of 1 kilometer.

The observed intensities were as follows:

• Intensity III: Vinzons and Jose Panganiban in Camarines Norte; Mercedez in Camarines Sur
