A man was found decapitated without arms in Iloilo City on Monday, November 6.
According to Aine Grace Bravo's report in MBC Network News' Repido Probinsya, both missing arms were first found in Barangay Ticud, Lapaz, Iloilo City, while the body without its head was later found in Barangay Buhang Jaro in Iloilo.
Authorities said that there was a possibility that the body parts were connected.
Written beside its remains was "Ibabalik ang kamay na bakal. Babala sa mga pusher. Merry Christmas 2023."
Police said they could not conclude whether the killing was related to illegal drugs despite discovering a suspected sachet of shabu on the victim's underwear.
The victim, named Christofer Cabalquinto, has been identified by his relatives from San Miguel, Iloilo City, due to his scar on his knees.
Cabalquinto's head is still missing.
