TV host Luis Manzano faced complaints from at least five investors who reported to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) over the failure of his company to recoup their investments in a gas-station co-ownership scheme.

An investor and now complainant named Jinky Sta. Isabel told that Manzano sat as a board chairman of gasoline station Flex Fuel Petroleum Corp. where she invested in two gasoline stations under a co-ownership worth P3.9 million.

However, Sta. Isabel reported that around P90,000 investment value was returned to her in 2021 and none of the investment was returned in 2022.

According to her, around 100 investors came out with the same complaints and four others joined her in filing a report with the NBI.

Through his council, the actor wrote to NBI Director Medardo de Lemos last November o clarify that he has resigned as chairman of the board as early as February last year.
