If the bad weather persists, the inauguration ceremony of President-elect Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. may move inside the National Museum, an organizer said Wednesday.

Although a stage has been set up outside the National Museum of the Philippines in Ermita, Manila, Franz Imperial, one of the heads of the preparation committee, said they have also prepared for a transfer indoors in case it rains.

"We are preparing for Plan B, we are discussing it," Imperial said.

Imperial said the committee will distribute ponchos to guests and observers at the golf course in front of the stage, where they will be allowed to witness the event, while the rest may watch via Livestream.

Earlier, Imperial said Marcos wants the event to be "simple and traditional."
