Mindanao pride will be borne by Sharmaine de la Cruz of Zamboanga; Jayvee Lyn Lorejo of Mawab, Davao de Oro; Jeramie Mingo of Iligan; and Krysti Ann Villarias of Cabadbaran, Agusan del Norte.

It will be tough month-long battle for the candidates, who will take part in weekly competition legs anchored on pride of place; talent and special skills; an advocacy campaign in “Queens for a Cause”; as well as the evening gown competition to be held on the same night as the highly awaited question-and-answer portion. All these segments, including the coronation night, will air over DZRH TV beginning September 11, and will be streamed live on all social media platforms of MBC, including the respective pages and YouTube accounts of their stations – DZRH, Love Radio, Yes The Best, Easy Rock, Radyo Natin and Aksyon Radyo.

The 2021 Aliwan Fiesta Digital Queen will receive P50,000; the first runner up P25,000, and second runner-up P15,000. All three winners will also be given the corresponding amount for their chosen charitable program in their respective municipalities. The other nine finalists get a guaranteed P10,000 each as consolation prize. Online polls thru the official voting platform, DZRH.COM.PH will also be conducted for Netizens Choice, and special awards will be given by sponsoring brands.

With the whole world moving to a virtual space, officials of MBC took their established brand already steeped in grassroots entertainment to launch various competitions on their digital platforms. Aliwan Fiesta Digital Queen is a title distinct from Reyna ng Aliwan, which will continue to be part of the mammoth festive convergence that ties together the country’s tourism efforts, but which has temporarily been in abeyance throughout the pandemic.

The search for Aliwan Fiesta Digital Queen 2021 will have its grand coronation night on October 9.
