The Manila Police District (MPD) will continue to monitor the nearby areas of the Quiapo Church, the report by RH 29 Boy Gonzales said.
The Traslacion of Jesus Nazarene began early Thursday, with several authorities on duty as early as 4:00 AM to monitor the event. According to the report, some devotees have now arrived at the Minor Basilica to attend the mass from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

The video shows the devotees arriving at Quiapo Church to attend and anticipate the arrival of Jesus Nazarene.

Meanwhile, the report noted that the MPD will continue to monitor the crowd in Quiapo, to prevent congestion. Some police officers are seen taking a few minutes of rest, a sign of exhaustion. Gonzales added that some officials have been on duty since the procession began.
Meanwhile, the Multi-Agency Coordination Center announced that the current crowd estimate in Quiapo Church is 518,300.
