The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced on Tuesday that it will deploy 300 personnel to manage the roads affected by the homecoming parade for the Filipino athletes who represented the country in the recently concluded Paris 2024 Olympics.
During a press conference, MMDA Acting Chairman Atty. Don Artes stated that the personnel assigned to the event will include traffic enforcers and street sweepers to ensure the orderliness and cleanliness of the parade route.
“The vehicles in the parade will travel at a speed of 6 kilometers per hour, allowing the public ample time to see the Philippine Olympic team. A stop-and-go traffic scheme will be implemented, and the parade is expected to last approximately 45 minutes,” Artes said.
Artes assured that the public will have the opportunity to see Olympic medalists Carlos Yulo, Nesthy Petecio, Aira Villegas, and other Filipino athletes during the homecoming parade.
The parade is scheduled to start at 3:00 PM tomorrow, August 14, beginning at Aliw Theater and concluding at Rizal Memorial Sports Complex.

- V. Sotto Street (Aliw Theater)
- Left turn to Roxas Boulevard
- Right turn to P. Burgos Avenue
- Straight ahead to Finance Road
- Right turn to Taft Avenue
- Right turn to Pres. Quirino Avenue
- Left turn to Adriatico Street
- Left turn to Rizal Memorial Sports Complex

After the parade, a short program will be conducted at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex.
