At least 218 people, 34 vehicles, 11 drones, and four K9 dogs were sent to Barangays Anoling and Quirangay in Camalig, Albay, to help with the search for the missing Cessna plane, its two pilots, and two Australian passengers.

The Cessna 340 RP-C2080 went missing shortly after taking off at 6:45 a.m. from Bicol International Airport on Saturday.

Camalig Mayor Carlos Irwin Baldo Jr. said in a statement on Sunday that the Team Camalig Rescue Group joined the operations at 5 a.m.

Medical teams from the Municipal Health Office, as well as other responders from the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines, the Albay Public Safety and Emergency Management Office, the Guinobatan local government, and the Philippine Army, he said.

Aside from the current manpower, the group plans to use drones equipped with thermal cameras as well as search and rescue dogs.

Emergency response teams from EDC's Bacon-Manito geothermal facility in Bicol, as well as its units in Leyte, Negros, and Mount Apo are on the ground.

Two helicopters will also be on standby for reinforcement.
