The COVID-19 positivity rate across the nation has experienced a slight decrease and currently stands at 8.1% as of June 25, according to OCTA Research fellow Guido David.

He reported that the nationwide positivity rate was recorded at 8.2% on Saturday, followed by 8.6% on Friday, and 8.9% on Thursday.
Based on the latest data provided by the Department of Health (DOH), there were 521 new cases of COVID-19 reported nationwide on Saturday, with 115 cases occurring in Metro Manila.
Guido projected that on June 26, the country might witness a range of 300 to 400 new cases of COVID-19.
The DOH's COVID-19 tracker reveals that the Philippines has accumulated a total of 4,162,752 COVID-19 cases to date, with 8,244 cases still active.
The number of recoveries stands at 4,088,026 while the death toll has reached 66,482.
