The latest data released by OCTA Research on Thursday showed that the COVID-19 positivity rate in the National Capital Region (NCR) has fallen below the 10% threshold, reaching 9.4% as of Tuesday.

Dr. Guido David, a fellow at OCTA Research, highlighted that NCR's seven-day testing positivity rate decreased from 14.6% on June 6 to 9.4% on June 13.

"NCR 7-day testing positivity rate decreased below 10%, to 9.4% as of June 13, 2023. It was at 14.6% on June 6," he wrote.

The positivity rate refers to the percentage of individuals who tested positive for COVID-19 out of the total number of individuals tested.
