Yellow alert lifted in Luzon Grid -NGCP

The yellow alert in Luzon Grid was already lifted on Thursday, July 18, according to the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP).
"Early lifting of grid alert status is due to the decrease in forecasted demand and delay in the shutdown of SCPC 1-4," the NGCP said in its 1 p.m. advisory.
Earlier, the NGCP said the yellow alert would take effect from 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m..

The yellow alert was issued due to the insufficient operating margin that did not meet the transmission grid's contingency requirement.
