Unioil Petroleum Philippines announced on Saturday that fuel prices are anticipated to decrease in the upcoming week.
The adjustments in oil prices are projected to be effective from June 20 to 26.
There is an expected drop in diesel prices ranging from ₱0.5 to ₱0.15 centavos per liter, while gasoline costs are anticipated to decline by ₱0.30 to ₱0.40 centavos.
According to Department of Energy's fuel price monitoring, the revision in fuel prices can be attributed to the year-to-date net decrease of ₱3.95 per liter for diesel and ₱6.05 per liter for kerosene.
Gasoline, on the other hand, experienced a net increase of ₱6.70 per liter.
Oil companies implemented a per liter increase of ₱1.20 for gasoline and ₱1.30 for kerosene on June 13.
