Another oil price rollback has been put into effect before July concludes, making this the third week of cuts to diesel and kerosene costs.

Shell Pilipinas Corp., Chevron Philippines Inc. (also known as Caltex), Petron Corp., Seaoil Philippines Corp. announced in separate advisories that every liter of gasoline will cost P0.75 less, every liter of diesel P0.85 less, and every liter of kerosene P0.80 less.

It was anticipated on Friday, July 26, that the price of gasoline will see a decrease of P0.70 to P1.10. Diesel was set to go down by around P0.55 to P0.95, and kerosene by P0.60.

According to the Department of Energy (DOE), the rollback emerged from a plentiful supply and weak demand for crude oil.
