The Olympic pistol shooter hailing from South Korea Kim Ye-ji, who won the internet over with her skill and ultra-cool composure will star as an assassin in a short-form series.
The Women’s 10-meter air pistol silver medalist made waves on the net with her presence, and attire: the futuristic wire-framed shooting glasses and casual baseball cap. Videos of her in action made rounds on social media, which was lauded by many, including personalities like billionaire SpaceX Co-founder Elon Musk.
“She should be cast in an action movie. No acting required!” a tweet of his reads on X.
Instead of an action movie, Kim has been tapped to be in “Crush,” for the international film project “Asia,” Asia Lab told the Agence France-Presse. She will play the role of an assassin and partnered with Indian actress-influencer Anushka Sen, the entertainment firm based in Seoul announced.
The firm was thrilled at “the potential synergy that will arise from Kim Ye-ji and Anushka Sen's new transformation into a killer duo.”
Last month, Kim signed with a South Korean talent agency. She has appeared in a Louis Vuitton magazine photoshoot.
