Authorities are offering a Php 1 million reward for individuals who can give information about the suspects responsible for the murder of the San Miguel, Bulacan Police Police Chief.
In a statement, Central Luzon Police Director PGen Jose Hidalgo Jr. said Php 500,000 reward is from the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), Php 200,000 is from the Philippine National Police (PNP), while Php 300,000 is from the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3).
“This is unfortunate news for us as one of our members was killed in line with our diligent efforts to arrest lawless elements,” Hidalgo said.
Based on the initial investigation, San Miguel Chief of Police Marlon Serna joined the team in hot pursuit of fleeing two unidentified suspects in the alleged robbery incident that happened in Brgy San Juan at around 9:30 pm on Saturday, March 25.
