Over P7.8 million worth of illegal drugs were confiscated by the Philippine National Police-Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG) as a result of simultaneous anti-criminality law enforcement operations (SCALEO) from March 13 to 19.

In a statement issued Monday, PDEG chief Brig. Gen. Narciso Domingo committed to continuing all-out operations across the country, citing the PDEG's 70 law enforcement operations, which included buy-bust operations for serving arrest warrants and search warrant operations that resulted in the arrest of 103 suspects.

According to him, the operations resulted in the seizure of 1,151.8 grams of shabu and marijuana leaves, with a street value of PHP7,832,600.

Domingo stated that the PDEG is working hard to regain its credibility in conducting transparent and lawful anti-illegal drug operations, particularly supply reduction.
