President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. has appointed Pablo Luis Azcona as the new acting Administrator and Chief Officer (CEO) of the Sugar Regulatory Administration (SRA).
He was officially appointed by Marcos last April 20, according to Presidential Communications Office (PCO) in a Facebook post on Friday, April 28.
Azcona will be succeeding SRA David John Thaddeus Alba who tendered his resignation last March due to his "worsening health condition."
Prior to his post, he was previously served as SRA Board Member-Planters' Representative.
Apart from Azcona, Marcos also appointed several officials in various government agencies including the Department of Justice (DOJ), the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), the Department of National Defense (DND), and more.
