The Philippines’ beauty queen, Angelica Lopez, gracefully concluded her journey in the Miss International 2024 pageant during the coronation night on November 12 at Tokyo Dome City Hall in Japan.
Despite her strong presence and overwhelming fan support, Lopez did not secure a spot in the top 20, bringing her pursuit of the prestigious international crown to an end.
In an Instagram story, Lopez expressed gratitude to her supporters.
"Salamat, Pilipinas kong Mahal. Onto the next chapter. I feel so grateful to be able to represent all of you. Salamat po sa tiwala at suporta," she wrote.
Lopez proudly represented the Philippines in a national costume that paid a stunning tribute to the country’s "Pearl of the Orient Seas." Crafted by designer Patrick Isorena, the ensemble was adorned with thousands of pearls and crystals, celebrating the Philippines' beauty and rich pearl-diving heritage.
Entering the competition as one of the frontrunners, Lopez even ranked sixth in Missosology’s final hot picks before the coronation. However, as the evening progressed, the competition grew tighter, and Lopez’s journey came to a close, leaving fans and supporters feeling bittersweet yet proud of her efforts and achievements.
