The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) recorded two phreatic eruptions in Taal Volcano from 12AM on Monday, October 7, to 12AM on Tuesday, October 8.

Based on the recent bulletin of PHIVOLCS, the eruptions lasted to as long as four minutes.

The agency said that Taal Volcano also released a plume that reached up to 900 meters above the main crater of the volcano during that 24-hour long period.

PHIVOLCS also recorded eight volcanic earthquakes and a volcanic tremor that lasted for two minutes.
