The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has filed acts of lasciviousness complaints at the Department of Justice (DOJ) against a retired police colonel who is running for public office.

In an interview with DZRH News, NBI Director Jaime Santiago stated that the preliminary investigation is scheduled for Friday.

According to the NBI’s investigation, the retired colonel allegedly brought the 17-year-old victim to a motel in Pasay City in 2024. There, he reportedly attempted to carry out his intentions, but the victim cried, resisted, and refused his advances.

Santiago revealed that the retired police officer was formerly a leader of police informants.

The retired officer allegedly attempted to settle the matter with the minor's parents but was unsuccessful.

The NBI has declined to disclose the identity of the retired colonel at this time.

Reports indicate that the former police officer is running for a local government position.
