A historic collaboration is about to happen!
In a story conference on Monday, GMA Network and GMA News unveiled Joshua Garcia, Gabbi Garcia, Richard Yap, and Jodi Sta. Maria as the lead stars of their joint television series "Unbreak My Heart."
The four promising Kapuso and Kapamilya stars will be joined by Laurice Guillen, Eula Valdes, Nikki Valdez, Bianca De Vera, Will Ashley, and Maey Bautista.
The "Unbreak My Heart", a Dreamscape Entertainment Production, will be directed by renowned directors Emmanuel Quindo Palo and Dolly Dulu.
In an interview, Jodi and Joshua expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming teleserye.
"This collaboration will bring in opportunities, not only to the networks but for the people in the industry," the 45-year-old actress said.
"Really honored talaga na makasama dito, na pinili nila ako na maging parte ng proyektong ito. Excited ako na gawin 'yung character," the 25-year-old actors said.
Gabbi, meanwhile, shared that this is her first time doing a different kind of role.
ABS-CBN and GMA Network's upcoming series is set to be filmed in Switzerland.
The two media giant collaborated with Viu, Hong Kong’s leading video streaming provider.
The teleserye will be available in Viu platform and will air on GMA 7.
The exact date of the broadcast has yet to be announced.
