Following the enlistment of BTS' oldest member Jin in the military this week, the other members are now expected to enlist one by one, and their leader RM will be the next one.
At around 2 p.m. on December 13, Jin entered the ROK army's new recruit training center in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi-province to start his five-week basic training.
In a photo they shared online, the BTS members were seen sending him off in his mandatory service.
There has been much discussion about whether the group would be exempted from mandatory military service due to their exemplary contributions in South Korea, which the member still prefer to serve the country.
In the recent talk show premiered by SUGA titled 'SuChwiTa,' there have been speculations that RM might be the next to enlist due to the statement he said about guesting on the show.
During the show, RM discussed his future plans and mentioned that he will have completed his military service in 2025 and will have started to grow his hair.
With such a statement, fans are expecting RM to join Jin in the military in the near future.
Meanwhile, there has been a report that SUGA will be assigned to public service for his mandatory military duties due to his shoulder injury which led him to undergo surgery.
RM, on the other hand, is expected to be the next member to enlist for mandatory active duty.
