The senator expressed his concern on the involvement of drugs on the night of the incident, during the Kapihan sa Senado on Thursday. According to him, Jojo Nones offered Muhlach the drugs, but he initially refused.

He continued saying that Muhlach asked what the money was for, assuming he was being given a payment for parking fees. Nones told him not to refuse as he would be using it eventually.
After a while, Nones poured the white powdery substance on the table and encouraged Muhlach to try the drugs. However, Estrada said that Muhlach refused. He mentioned that the latter continued drinking wine until he gave in to sniffing the drugs. Based on Estrada’s investigation, the drugs offered appeared to be cocaine.
“Where did they get those drugs, and who supplied them those drugs?” Estrada pressed.
If proven right, the two contractors, Jojo Nones, and Richard Cruz, have the possibility of facing another case laid against them.
Meanwhile, Estrada announced that they are working on strengthening the law on sexual harassment, and have identified what needs to be legislated and amended.
