At the tail end of the ongoing Traslacion along Finance Road, several devotees were reportedly left fainting along the route.
In a report by RH Edniel Parrosa, the majority of those who fainted were women, who were assisted by volunteers from the Federal Fire Volunteer Group.
According to the group, the majority of cases they attended to, as of 8 a.m., involved individuals who had not eaten adequately or had experienced lack of sleep.
Several devotees participated continuously from the "pahalik" or "pagpupugay" through the Misa Mayor and the Traslacion, leaving some without proper food intake or sleep.
Furthermore, while there were some instances of fractures and trauma, like open wounds, most of the cases were of devotees feeling weak or fatigued.
The Federal Fire Group is among the volunteer organizations that offered their time, attention, and resources to support devotees during the event.
This is led by the Department of Health (DOH), the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), and the Philippine Red Cross, which are also deployed for foot patrols, in addition to their tents, providing immediate assistance to devotees in need.
At exactly 4:41 a.m., the Traslacion began, moving from Quirino Grandstand and traversing various streets and locations in Manila before concluding at the Minor Basilica and National Shrine of Jesus Nazareno.
