Filipino basketball player Kai Sotto will continue his basketball journey in Japan and signed with the Koshigaya Alphas for the next season of the B.League.
The Alphas announced on Friday, June 21, that Sotto will join their team in the next season of the B.League.
"I'm very excited to join the Koshigaya Alphas! Coming from B2 I know this team wants to prove that they belong in the B1 so I’m really up for the challenge to help this team win games and reach the next level," Sotto said in a statement posted in the website of the Alphas
"I wanna get better and improve my game thats why i chose the Alphas because I know they will really help me. Can’t wait to go to Koshigaya and see the city, and especially see and meet the fans," he added.
During the previous season of the B. League, Sotto signed with the Hiroshima Dragonflies before the team loaned him to the Yokohama B. Corsairs.
With the Corsairs, Sotto averaged 12.8 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks per game.
